Chão Batido is a traditional restaurant located in Santo Antônio de Lisboa, one of the most charming districts of Florianópolis. It began its activities on 07/02/1997, when Ivan Sartorato, together with his wife Adriana Pires and his daughter, Ivana Pires Sartorato, opened the doors for the first time.
Since then, locals and tourists come to their tables, delighting in the numerous dishes based on the typical Azorean gastronomy, which give the menu a taste of unforgettable and unparalleled history.

LOCAL
Santo Antônio de Lisboa, is a walk through the history of Florianópolis, is located northwest of the Island of Santa Catarina. It is one of the oldest districts and with an unique beauty, it has an extension of 22.45 km ². The region was occupied by the Guarani Indians.
In the 19th century, Santa Catarina received Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, German, Belgian, Austrian, Greek and Syrian. Azoreans inherited the language and the peculiar accent, pottery, billet lace, the feeling of religiosity, literature, festivals and cultural traditions.
